Service

As a ministry of Catalina Foothills Church, Cornerstone Christian Academy seeks to minister to the greater Tucson community through a variety of service projects. Below you will find a list of the different projects each grade is involved with this year.

Each year Cornerstone participates in the Pennies for Patients drive to raise funds for leukemia patients. Kellie Minor (top right) is one such patient who has benefited from funds raised by CCA students.

Teacher Service Projects 2007-2008

• Kindergarten: Casa de los Niños

• Second Grade: Diaper Drive; Hopi Mission School (ACSI)

• Third Grade: Missionary Kids Pen Pals; sister school partnership

• Fourth Grade: The Giving Tree

• Fifth Grade: The Villas; Adopt-a-Soldier

• Sixth Grade: Corozón Ministries and World Vision
