The Next Generation

After reading about our view of education, it may occur to some to ask: "Why do we go to all the trouble?" Private Christian schooling emphasizing quality, such as we have here, is a costly endeavor, both in time, dollars, and dedication. Cornerstone is blessed with support from Catalina Foothills Church and friends from many other Tucson area churches who agree with the goals we have here. But even with this support, there is much sacrifice on the part of many individuals.

Perhaps the best way to summarize why we do what we do is with this quote from Back to Freedom and Dignity by the late Francis Schaeffer:

 "Christians should prepare to take the lead in giving direction to cultural change. And if it goes poorly, as well it might in the post-Christian world, then we should be consciously preparing the next generation for the new battles it will face."
